Repair services:

From minor repairs to major rebuilds to regular maintenance. We take joy in our products and services, bringing more value with after sales support by dedicated repair teams based on various products for fast turn around time.
Offering a complete range of service solutions Olympus India serves through its specialized departments. Following the Japanese standard protocols for any repairs, the efficiency of these departments begins the moment the equipments are received at our centres.

The service process commences with Invasive products undergoing thorough cleaning prior to disinfection or sterilization (CDS process). What follows next is the incoming inspection, the required repair service, the final inspection and of course the safe dispatch.

Equipped with the very latest in test and calibration equipment, our facilities efficiently repair and return to use your equipments in the shortest possible time, with minimal inconvenience to users. While the use of only original equipment parts, and repair methods with the widest range of genuine tools ensure that both our centres and field service operations deliver the highest possible quality standard.
At the core of it all is our team of highly skilled engineers trained and certified by Olympus Japan with technicians trained to high standards within a discipline. While some apply their expertise at our workshops others dedicatedly perform as FSE (Field Service Engineers ) through our strategically established national network. Being the first in the flesh to respond to a rapid emergency or breakdown, as well as taking care of planned preventative maintenance visits under service contracts and on site repairs.

AMC:

With AMC program centred on customer's requirements. The regular support given ensures proper working and assured performance. And furthermore its Value Added Services plus minor repairs free of cost promises your equipments a better life.

Loaner Service Program:

OMSI provides one of a kind loaner service in the country. Responding to a breakdown the need may arise for the equipment to be taken to the service centre. So, while a customer's equipment is being repaired a similar replacement of the product is provided during the period, thus minimising downtime tremendously. Not only is this service free of charge but we believe it to be a critical necessity in keeping the schedules intact of busy medical departments.

EDUCATION & AWARENESS PROGRAMS

Purpose Statement:

There is continuous need to be updated, especially on technical processes in order to efficiently utilize the products, pertaining to Operational know how, Maintenance and CDS, ultimately towards longevity of Equipment and Safe Operations. Accordingly, Olympus India is actively engaged to conduct various Education and Awareness sessions for

* GI / Broncho Technicians,
* OT Technicians (Uro / Gen Surg / Gynae / Others)
* Nurses - Engaged in Endoscope CDS or Procedures,
* Bio – Medics and Other End Users

Overview of Education Sessions :

During these sessions, the general topics being covered, are

* Endoscope Basics (Principle of working & General Operation)
* Basic Insight of Endoscope (Internal Parts)
* CDS (Cleaning / Disinfection / Sterilization) of Flexible, Rigid Endoscope & Accessories
* Common Issues / Preventive Care / Do's & Don’ts
* Update on New products
* Update on Service / Repair Policy, Service Network & Contractual Services

The sessions could be Product exclusive, On-demand by user and / or Pro-active for any Process, supported with standardized theoretical presentations followed by practical demonstrations / hands-on work stations and summarizing quiz.

Olympus India ensures the availability of expert service trainers, managers and experienced team for organizing and conducting the programs.

Format of Education Sessions:

Lectures followed by hands on training session at different work stations.
Generally the Education & Awareness sessions are for Full Day. However, these are also conducted for shorter duration at customer premises against specific requests on product or process. For our surgical products, Care@site and Surgicare Programs are well known.

The Full Day Sessions of 7-8 hours are mostly conducted on weekends or on other off days.

Certification:

The participants are awarded with certificate of participation endorsed by Olympus India’s Senior Management.

1. The three main options (Service, Enquiry, Academic) are shown on the home screen. You can simply tap and send request to Olympus.
2. By putting all information,  your request will be delivered to Olympus. Unique number will be given.
3. You can check the current status of request at history page. You can even check repair status as well.
4. You can check profile of assigned engineer. This is for transparency.
5. If you are not happy with the response, you can escalate the case. Senior person will be assigned as replacement.
6. After closing the case, you can send feedback to Olympus.
